Tips for leveling machinist?
Does anybody have any tips for leveling machinist? i am already doing quite a bit of duty roulette but i'd love to know what i can do after that, it's a shame that the class starts at level 30 even though you can only get it at 50 or so.

Squadron missions and potd are the best way to handle the 30-60 grind.

Same as any other character: main story quests, dungeons, fates. No magic trick for fast leveling.

Unfortunately you're just stuck doing relevant level MSQ, running dungeons endlessly and that's about it. Your time is honestly probably better used just doing all your duty roulettes with MCH every day then give up on leveling for the day. Unless you have MSQ's you can do.

Just a reminder, you have to be level 50 to get machinist.
Machinist starts at level 30.
MSQs are not really an option.
Thanks for the advice though, i've been doin mostly just the leveling duty roulette and a buncha side quests, still nothing's really as fast as duty roulette.

If you have squadrons leveled up, those are generally faster than queueing up for dungeons, especially as a dps. But yeah, you're stuck with dungeons and maybe some potd if you wanna mix it up.

Get a friend who'll promise you that it gets better eventually. Seems it keeps a lot of people going. I gave up and bought lvl 70 for MCH - can't say I regret it because I feel just how badly it sucks every time I get downgraded to 50.

Well the most efficient way is to have healer friend and grind your highest dungeons.

Or if you are like me friendless and alone grind the palace of the dead and HoH up 70. The caveat of this method is that you already unlocked a chunk of the floors.

Squadron is good for insta que for dps but if your squad is low level and don't have buffs, gonna take awhlie

Example I was a lvl1 thm and grinded 51-60 floors until I am 60. Problem is getting there since lots of wipes in the 50 area boss. After that you can rinse and repeat

Squads are still insanely OP and will quickly roflstomp a dungeon for you quick enough. Not much beats that..

Oh BTW, if you didn't know, it's best to only do the roulette once per day for the daily reward. After that, you wanna just do the highest level dungeon you can. I remember when I learned this, I was quite embarrassed that I was just running leveling roulette over and over lol.

Yeah, that helps a lot, and trust me, largely, the ff14 community is super supportive.
