Bought mount not showing up?

I bought bennu from the store about an hour ago, He shows up as purchased under my payment history yet I haven't gotten any in-game mail yet. (assuming I'm supposed to have his whistle delivered?)
Is the game just taking a long time to deliver him or is there another step I'm missing?

It does take a bit to receive it. Usually around 40 minutes to an hour from my personal experience.

The mail system can be finnicky sometimes, yeah. It took me over 18 hours to get something I bought once.

eh just gonna echo the others here... all the mounts I've gotten took more than a hr one took 24 hours roughly.

theres a little delay due to the processing the amount Preorders for endwalker right now. give it a bit and it should pop up
