Lost Free Trial character after a few months not logging in?

When the Free Trial got expanded last year, I logged in and played for a while after dropping it since a few weeks later. Now when I redownload the trial, I dont see my old character at all?

Check your data center and make sure you're on the one you made your character on. That gets me sometimes.

I tried all of my accounts (only 2), and I did have footage of my previous playthrough, so I know where I created my character. My appearance data is still on my PC, but I cant find my actual character anywhere

My friend didn't play the game for 3 years and his free trial character still exists.

A) using a different account
B) on a different data center/world

Or you deleted it

Did you ever get the character back? Same thing happened with one of my friends now. I did read somewhere (no links but comment) that they delete free trial accounts after 90 days of not logging in so not sure if it's that.

I have a Lv60 toon on a trail account that i havent touched since early 2021 and she's still there.

Thanks - that's good to know. Just verifying: you never actually bought a paid subscription at any stage? I know they don't disappear once you have a subscription but my friend only has the free trial and never subscribed.
