What even is that? All my Google search gives me is a consulting firm that's been.. consulted on various & very successful games like God of War: Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake II.

So it's a case of two groups acting stupid over a fictional video game character? How did parasocial strangers even find out about VA's gender anyways? Square Enix isn't advertising it on the launcher or news updates on Steam.

I've seen various valid complaints about the character that made no mention of "woke" or the gender of the VA. She has the most screentime out of any other character and almost 4 times as many lines compared to the next highest character. So while there may have been other boring characters in the past, none have been nearly as prevalent as Wuk has. If you don't like her character that much the story will be that much more difficult to get through. And I've seen people who say they like her but were tired of her by the end of it all.
