anti woke mobs is as cringe as the woke crowd. Incredibly sad to think these people are adults.

The major issue with this xpac isn't the character itself, but the fact that there's like a total of like 30mins of real gameplay in the MSQ. The game has always kind of been like this but not to this extent. Previously it could be masked behind a somewhat interesting story. The new classes are fun, dungeons + trials have been significantly improved, just wish 99% of the MSQ wasn't running back and fourth talking to NPCS.

No one cares what Wuk's VA is or is not except trolls.

Happens with every game on steam whenever some part of a game gets interpreted as either woke or censored.

The steam forums had a similar implosion when FFVII Rebirth had Tifa wearing a vest under her shirt during one of the flashbacks, because it covered up a tiny bit of her cleavage. The anti-woke, anti-censorship screaming went on for weeks; trying to bury Rebirth and convince everyone the game was ♥♥♥♥ and going to fail.

There's honestly no reason to ever take the Steam community seriously. There's a reason this place is ignored by the industry.

Are you telling me people got mad that an udnerage girl grieving her dead father and destoryed village sparked a nontroversy because the UNDERAGE girl in question didn't have her boobs hang out?

I mean, is the WoL really a good main character? Basically a voiceless statue with no personality who sits there and quietly gets his ass kissed in order to hamfist the idea that it's "his" story...

Turning other characters into the main characters and putting the WoL in a supporting role makes WAY more sense. I think the new direction is very intelligent.

Yeah it's a smart idea. Too bad they didn't write a compelling main character this expansion.

I enjoyed the story and Wuk Lemat. The VA did a fine job overall. The only thing I noticed was when Wuk would scream / yell. It sounded a bit muffled, but i'm guessing she had trouble hitting that volume with a feminine pitch. Other than that, no complaints about her.

However, there was a lot of Sweet Baby Inc woke and hatred in the game in other areas. Which most of it I didn't mind save for near the end. They snuck a hate message in at the end toward people of "pale complection" lets just say. Which is no surprise, as they've freely gone on record many times saying as such.
