So what's wrong with Dawntrails story?

So far I'd say it's ARR<Stormblood<Dawntrail<HW<Endwalker<Shadowbringer.

What exactly is it about the story that's so upsetting it has you bedwetters all worked up?

I'm just curious.

Now that I'm actually playing through Dawntrail I have a frame of reference, so what's the big problem? The dialogue seems on par with other expansions; I was expecting the new character to be a complete disaster, but she's fine; the new areas are visually nice.

Is the problem that the story is laid back and not end-of-the-world serious?

the issue is that there is a woke movement going around right now and everyone keeps talking about how woke the game is and that its voiced by a transgender person, so they automaticly hate it no matter how good it would be, its literally just small children who dont know what ff even is, and that is facts, i love the story so far,

some1 skipped the main story in arr up till endwalker and only cares about big numbers, dungeons, raids, trials and prolly have a damage meter addon to torment players who is too slow in content

Not at all, I played through every expansion from ARR to present. I've also never used a Damage meter or cared for Savage raids. Try again.

Boring main character, her VA is kinda bad as well, there is no emotion of much of what she says, imagine screaming, needing to show anger or frustration, but you feel none of, she's just devoid of any actual depth. we babysit her for most of the first half.

To me as far as starting expansions go dawn trail is by far the most boring one. but it's still early, it can possibly get better and upgrade to not bad.

i understand and actually don't mind that our WoL is taking a back seat now and being chill, we just had a 10 year long story, that isn't the problem it's how insufferable and bland wuk lamat is so far.

But givin shadow bringers was the best expansion by a mile and you placed it there shows me this seems kinda like bait and you're just going agaisnt the popular vote.

Edit: yes it is indeed a troll, trying the "i'm not a troll just really horrible taste" which is common on these forums, i've said my piece and not giving him anymore attention, nor his alts.

Don't like the story, fine, think it's boring, fine, don't like this or that character, fine, but use some actual arguments.

It dosn't. These are outrage tourists and it costs them nothing to add the free trial to their libriary so they can claim they're "actual" players.
