And her English voice acting is extremely poor. Like 4kidz dub level quality.
people like to ♥♥♥♥♥ about good characters
My problem with her is the way she's used for emotional blackmail and blatant manipulation by the writers in the later half of the MSQ. Her development just... stops and is replaced by constant repetitions of the first half to push an agenda I will never agree with.
Character is fine, writing is not
It's not because it's rated T, it's because it's a Final Fantasy game hahah
I think they did a lot better job making her into a potential leader unlike Lyse. Wasn't a fan of the ending though.
Finding the PoV character boring or poorly written //-// wanting the plot to center entirely around your character.
You're still reminded constantly in the MSQ or reminding other people about who or what you are. The only interesting part is the mentor part.
What people are more irked about is that the story revolves around a character that they don't like, or that they have limited choice in being around that character. This weird looking cat person means nothing to me. Half of these quests could be tribal quests that I choose to do while adventuring and looking for the Golden City on behalf of Krile.
Puke On a Mat is not enriching my experience of the game.
A lot of people straight up don't like Wuk Lamat because they want to steamroll over everything and swing their e-peen round.
I'd rather back Koana because he has a brain between his ears and isn't an overdone shonen trope that I feel forced into liking. That being said, I'm not the biggest fan either since his character arc (SPOILER) culminates in "hell yeah, wuk lamat! uwu <3 <3 <3". Like every other schmuck you meet during this expansion.
It's grating.
We're still steamrolling over everything, because of who and what we are. The only difference is that to engage in that steam rolling, we have to engage in pokémon episode tier activities with a characte- oh god, we're basically filling the Brock and Misty role.
Help. Get me out. GET ME OUT.
Lots of Turali also want that as well, lol. Wuk Lamat wants to maintain the status quo.
The only limitation I don't like in his thinking is that he never extrapolates on how to adapt technologies unique to Tural in the long term. I think what they've done with the dirigibles is great. That being said, I don't think he's an ideal leader either.
But I'll take him over the next king of the pirates or hokage.
Most of Turali do not want to become a colony of Sharlayan or to abandon their traditions tho
