just got MSQ 95, i think its been pretty boring so far, really hope you're right that it gets better. getting pretty tired of just helping this wuk lamat story line.

yeah about 96-97 then I found it more exciting. About Wuke lamat its a very boring char xD but if you ignore that, you'll be fine.

It was good, I enjoyed it all the way. I came in ready to learn about the history of the new zones, talk to npcs, and take it all in. 97+ MSQ was awesome, too. Excited to go back and do the roles quests and yellow quests later.

Not really a fan of it tbh, First half awful 2nd half is bearable.

I'm still of opinion that we should've perished with Zeno at end of EW, Force everyone to fantasia (Forced Consumption & Redesign) for Dawntrail.

Cause lets be real, Woulda avoided almost all the character creation backlash.

Woulda been easier to staple our new character to Lamat, Hired bodyguard or something.

Casually introduce scions over time.

Japanese Voice, The character quality is immeasurably higher since the actor actually put effort and love into their work.

English voice was just there for a paycheck you can tell.

The voice actor is very.. not great I agree. However swapping to Japanese will not help much because It would not help the character to be less annoying overall. That and I do not speak Japanese fluently enough to follow along, thus I am unable to make a judgement to say if the voice acting is good or not. Though definitely better than the English one I do not think it would be a fair thing to do.

at the level96 MSQ and so far I do like the story.
It does give Stormblood vibes but modernized. the lvl90-92 MSQ were a chore to go through but it finally started to pick up at 93 and become more interesting

Got to the fourth zone and found myself skipping cut scenes now. Wuk Lamat took all my patience with this game. Nice to get yet another Lyse character that didn't actually earn it.

For now, Wait till the same 20ish forum regulars log in for 3 hours during prime time.

i think the wuk lamat thing is happening cause SE wants to have the new race thing in focus aswell XD. i would actually make a bet that it would´ve been a random race if the female hrothgar wouldnt be new.

i like the story so far. i mean granted, i usually skip unvoiced cutscenes (except the ones about krile) but unvoiced cutscenes are not important anyways öö (atleast most of the time xD).
iunno at which MSQ number i am right now but i reached this weird futuristic dome and finished that duty there a million times because i wanted the complete healer outfit set XD.

Wuk Lamat is just another "girlboss that is the key to everything, everyone loves, is good at everything, but needs to learn self-confidence in her girlboss powers and embrace her destiny to Slay Queen, Slay" with a side of "daddy issues."

Add in several dashes of "Dues Ex Machina" and "The characters are all stupid because the plot has to happen."

Not quite as bad as Hollywood for the past 10 years, but darn close. I'm smelling "California based consultancy company" in the writing room.

Finally, if I wanted a history lesson about Tacos I'd go to community college.

no ... i dont know why peoples want to connect games (as soon they have political stuff in it) to the real life. its a game, it has nothing to do with real life.
you should not skip voiced cutscenes tho. they are important x3.
i mean, if you dont care anymore at all then just skip. but otherwise, never skip voiced cutscenes.
