no worlds are accepting new players?

I just bought the game and wanted to try it with some friends. we noticed the maintenance didnt end till this morning so we waited, but after the servers came back up we were met with every crystal and world saying, "this world is not accepting any more new characters. you may either wait for the restriction to be lifted or you may select another world". is the maintenance still going on or am i missing something?

You are trying to play the game during an expansion launch. Good luck. You will need it.

It's simple. Everyone is logging into their characters to try out the new classes and do the new expansion story so no more slots. Choose a different newer world and start a character there. They stopped world to world travel in NA as well due to congestion.

If there is no new players the only way you can get around that is to try at like 4 am in the morning when nobody is on and sometimes the restrictions on creating new characters is lifted

I know this cause at shadowbringers I logged in at 4 or 5 am and was able to create one when during the day I couldn’t.

Don’t know if it still works though

i tried as soon as the servers came back up this morning but i had no luck ill have to try to see if its easier tomorrow morning.

Not the best time at the moment the servers go up on the first day of expansion. Try very early in the morning

afaik for NA you have to create on Dynamis atm, the rest of it is actively disabled for the launch

If you're in NA, there are 4 data centers to choose each with 8 servers, 3 are full, entirely, you are trying to make a char in one of these, it won't happen for weeks after the xpac.
one is completely open, Dynamis, make your chars there then everyone will be able to play together.

Are you now unable to make a character on Dynamis?

No I am not creating a new character XD. I just thought of since Dynamis is a dead world, most new players would be placed there
