Turn off bloom
Been looking for an option in game to turn off or tone down the bloom.
Everything is so bright it hurts my eyes right now.

it used to be the 2nd "glare" option under graphics, but it seems they've removed the "off" option there.

At least it's not just me. I haven't found a way to disable it, and it made the praetorium really miserable because half the instance looks like a big blurry light-bomb now.

I just speedran the praetorium unsynced just to see if you were right and everything looks fine for me, aside from a slightly more intense glow coming from the console behind Gaius I literally see nothing else that can quite literally be described as a "Big blurry light-bomb"

That "more intense glow" is half the instance for me. All that glowing blue stuff everywhere has the fuzzy glowing halo around it.

Strange. For me the bloom is very little and it only comes from small light sources, perhaps it is your settings? Sometimes with bloom, lower settings actually means MORE for some reason, I can tell you what I set my settings to, hopefully it helps.

UI Resolution - standard HD / full HD

Resolution
Graphics upscaling - AMD FSR (Basically DLSS disabled since I am on a 4070)
3D resolution scaling is set to 100
DYNAMIC RESOLUTION IS DISABLED!

Use low detial models on distant objects is disabled
Enable dynamic grass interaction is ON

Basically everything is on max:
Real time reflections - Maximum
Edge smoothing - TSCMAA
Trasparent lighting quality - High
Grass quality - high
parallax occlusion - high
Tesselation - high
Glare - standard

Shadows
Self - display
party members - display
Other npc's -display
Enemies - display

Shadow quality
Use low-detial models on shadows is off
Use low detail models on distant object shadows is off
Shadow resolution is high - 2084p
Shadow cascading - best
Shadow softening - strongest
cast shadows - Maximum

Texture resolution - High
Anisotropic filtering - x16

Movement physics are all on FULL

Effects
Naturally darken edges of screen (Limb darkening) Is on
Blur the graphis around an object in motion is on

Screen space ambient occlusion - GTAO: Quality
Glare - Normal
Water refraction - normal

And depth of field is also on.

Those are my graphic settings right now.

This isn't a settings issue. It used to be attached to one of the glare options but now there's no way to turn it off. Just tried running the bugged syrcus tower and that was just as bad. All those glowing crystals everywhere have really overblown bloom.

I've tried everything and nothing helps. It's mindblowing they disabled the only option we had to turn it off.

that amount of glowing light basically impairs my ADHD brain... :/
You could probably do it through a reshader, just don't use that one where the dev got all uppity and put malware in the code. (gshade i think it was called)

That doesn't remove bloom, it just mutes the highlight range which makes everything look worse.

In my case, the bloom might be the cause of memory leaks when I play fro 30-120 minutes. Then everything gets choppy and I have to close the game and relaunch.
Seems they're trying to force people to spend a month of rent on a new graphics card just to be able to play a game that is already being paid to play via monthly subscriptions.
