I don’t know if they wanted to put a sale on right before the launch of the expansion given they had problems with endwalkers launch and them having to temporarily stop sales of the game. That post is ironically still pinned to the top of this forum.

Not sure if this was the main reason but I have a feeling they didn’t want to chance it by getting an overwhelming amount of new players at the start. Though they say they have improved thing for this one, it awaits to be seen.

I think they mean had the Base game been on sale, they would have bought that and the dlc in addition

They did a sale a month ago on Mogstation, they rarely do it on Steam since we are a small fraction of the playerbase. also a sale is going on right now on GreenMangaming {but that is for Mogstation only}
