You know I'm not at all surprised that some people here against anti cheat would also abuse the report system in an attempt to silence my arguments as 'off topic'. Thanks for unbanning me, Marco of Steam support!

Literally 99% of plugins and or mods are client side only ranging from quality of life improvements for the hud all the way to custom armor only said person can see and Square Enix legit views every player report so actual hackers aren't around for very long

But what about the 1%? Even assuming you're right and 99% are indeed harmless there is always a potential to cause harm and ruin a player's experience. Shouldn't SE be proactive in their attempts to disarm cheaters instead of waiting for the event to occur? At the moment FFXIV doesn't even have simple server side detection to stop the most rudimentary of cheating/hacking.

Mods are definitely different from cheats, but to pretend that cheats don't affect people in FFXIV is wrong.
