What a loaded question. I already stated in this thread that idc about anti-cheat outside Vanguard (So unless if its even worse than vanguard). At the end of the day, it won't affect me. I just hate it when people try to come up with stupid reasons as to why it should be added. Especially when the person is trying to compare it really poor examples.

P.S. I truly think its bad that one of their reasons is that YoshiP says mods are bad. Please think for yourself. Saying mods could lead to a poor or misrepresentation of the game would be a better reason to me.

Honestly, this is what I'm getting from them. They can't think for themselves. No mind of their own. All they think is "Rules good, mods bad." which is dumb. I think it was explained many times how mods add QoLs that are very valued by many players. So yeah...

As I also explained, a thing that's bound to FFXIV and makes sure that no mods are used would only penalize EVERYONE. Just for the sake of "possibly" stopping the very rare if any harmful mods out there. The lack of rational thinking is pretty bad, to be honest.

I think the argument would be similar to Denuvo. Is what they want it to do understandable? Yes. Does it possibly harm users (sometimes many users) despite them being legit users? Also yes.

Last I checked, Square has gone on record with a "Don't show, Don't tell" rule.

They can't stop you from using mods or third party plug-ins. Any attempt to do so would not work in the long run and just make the game worse for those not doing it.

Do not talk about using a parser or mods in game, and do not stream/record yourself playing with mods publicly. As long as your mods are your mods and you don't make it obvious that you have them, they are unwilling to push the subject further.

Linking videos that don't answer my question doesn't help. Il ask again with some details since i know words are something you struggle with. Who's experience are you trying to protect? Yours who's existence is based around being mad about something that neither affects you nor bothers you or the players who decided to install a program that helps them dye undyeable gear to whatever colour they choose?

But most cheats are coincidentally plogons. I've looked at the repos that use logic to automate decision making for the player which is both cheating and giving an unfair advantage against console players for example. Anyway, since you mentioned brains I think it would be a fair, proper tribute to Yoshi P to see if you can parse the meaning of his words. You seem to be an expert on brains so I suspect you'll have no trouble here.
