I already sent it yesterday explaining everything to them but they responded telling me to update the address on my account but I can't because I can't change the country (to Brazil) and I tried to put another random address to see and it still doesn't work
Lots of people seem to be having similiar issues so pressing support about it helps bring it to light to SQEX.
I saw that they said they did something this week at the mog station and I also saw that there are several people with different problems such as their card not working, not being able to pay, I will try to send it to their support one more time today to see if they are fixing anything and when will it end
For Brazil, you can only select "the americas" and this does not include South American addresses, an oversight no doubt.
The only thing you can do, is input as much of your real address as you can, then for the State, you will need to input a real American combo of State and Zip code that match.
For example, in the State and Zip code, try California with the zip 90210.
I don't know if this will work anymore with the updated payment processor, but you have no choice so...
If it wont work, put it in anyway and use Steam Payment, I believe it only is an issue if directly using SE MogStation credit/debit card processors.
If you can't progress through the MogStation Steam Payment options for some reason, you can try PayPal as it doesn't use SE's junk, or buy a digital Game Time card for your accounts region.
But anyway, you cannot enter non-North America addresses.
The last option is to use a known address in America, a full address if the account system demands it, just use one found on google, even googles HQ, whatever works, IF, nothing SE suggests you to do, works.
"the change to the payment processor used for purchases on the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store and Square Enix Account Management sites is scheduled to be implemented on April 23, 2024. This should not have an impact on most purchases, but we want to share some information to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
After April 23, 2024, we will be confirming the address for the account for payment security purposes. You can confirm and update your registered address by logging into the Square Enix Account Management System and accessing the “Account Information” section from the "Account" menu.
Not even. I'm in Canada and I'm cooked. They need to expand their payment processor to more than 5 countries, it's stupid.
Anyway, until then, for anyone struggling with this, just enter this address:
20500 - 1600
United States
District of Columbia
Washington
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Congratulations, you now live in the White House according to Mogstation.
Because Singapore is. xD
You can use a fake address if you are in a region not identified by square enix (example: south east asia) but do expect to encounter some payment issues as of this post as their recently changed payment processor now rejects VISA debit cards that are not of the same region as the fake address you claim to be from.
Basically, just wait a couple of days/weeks for the result of their "investigations" to be on the safe side. If not you can just use credit cards or the paypal-crysta method (which can be a pain) if you want to proceed.
Singapore is in a very weird spot in the sense that all western based gaming companies outright remove ONLY singapore from their SEA region list and place them under North America (NA) WHILE people from NA thinks Singapore is part of China
THIS WORKED LMAOO
I actually used a non US card which worked, thankfully and surprisingly.
All you need to do is enter in ANY address that is in the same region as the account, once you get passed that, you're set.

You can use the add game time code button with that instead.
