Same place you got your early access key. Right click game on Steam > Manage > CD keys.
Well you should already have your early access key Right click the game on steam > Manage > CD keys. Enter the key here into Mogstation.
You can check in Mogstation if you do have early access by clicking Service Account Status and scrolling to the bottom. On there it should have a tick next to Dawntrail Early Access.
Edit. The "Button" I think you are referring to is "Enter Item Code"
Starting Monday, 24 June, we will begin distributing Dawntrail registration codes via email to customers who purchased Dawntrail (standard or digital Collector's Edition) from the Square Enix Store. Code distribution will be performed sequentially, so it might take a bit of time until you receive your code. However, we are beginning the process early to ensure that customers receive their codes ahead of the official launch of Dawntrail.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The button to enter a Dawntrail registration code ("Enter Expansion Registration Code") will not appear on the Mog Station until the game officially launches following early access. Attempting to register the code in other areas of the Mog Station before release will simply result in an "invalid code" error being displayed.
Early access will end on Friday, 5 July 2024 at 23:59 with the region of your Square Enix account determining the time zone. North American accounts will adhere to (PDT), European accounts will adhere to (GMT), and Japanese accounts will adhere to (JST). Users on Windows, Mac, or Steam will need to register the full Dawntrail registration code before this time to continue playing after the early access period.

Thank you for your reply Scarla. The "button" I am referring to,is the one I stated, which is the one that Square Enix states in the message they posted on the forum. The button to enter an early access code for the Dawntrail registration code ("Enter Expansion Registration Code") This is not the same as the "Enter Item Code". Thank you<3

[Requirements for Participating]
Players who meet the following requirements will be eligible to participate during the Early Access period.
- Has an active FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account on the SQUARE ENIX Account.
- Has a recurring subscription or has remaining subscription days on the Mog Station.
- Has pre-ordered Dawntrail on the platform that it will be played on.
- (Windows®/Mac/Steam users only) Has registered the Dawntrail Pre-order Bonus Code.
There should be the button "Enter Pre-Order bonus code" next to enter item code.
If it isn't there check "service account status" and scroll down the bottom to make sure you haven't already got it. If you do it should show a tick mark next to Dawntrail Early access.
Everyone who bought the game has a SE account. How is it that they can't generate codes and activate them on your account when you buy the game?
If you bought it on Steam, they won't email you. You will find the code on or before early access ends on the 2nd July in your games CD keys section. Aside from Mogstation allowing Steam Wallet purchases I don't believe there is any actual integration with Steam so they wouldn't know any other way if you purchased it.
On PSN this all happens how it's supposed to. Not sure why Square is 20 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to PC registration.
