Bought Dawntrailer on Mogstation instead of Steam

I bought the dawntrailer expansion on mogstation not knowing that it does not transfer to steam.

I was hoping there was someone who wanted a mogstation copy of dawntrailer and was willing to trade it for a steam version of it.

even if it is not a scam, we cant give you a steam key yet+you cant even check ifthe key is valid because you cant activate it yet. its possible on dawntrail release, so. noone can check if your key is valid or not. i still call it a scam.

and thats a legit e-mail a friend of mine got from SE via square enix store.
next time stop lying please if you bought dawntrail before the 24th of june, no NA square enix shop buyer got their key within minutes.
it literarly says that SE store buyers get their keys on the 24th of june~2nd july.
the only mistake i made is that i was 2 days off.

so, i doubt you got your key in an instant!
and everyone which bought dawntrail via SE shop got this e-mail.

Damn, is everyone in this thread taking strays? I was going to simply gift him the expansion on Steam after he'd sent and I activated both keys, but I assumed he was from the UK/EU - for some reason; I later realized he's from Canada.

Also, it appears I've received special treatment, as I immediately received both my prepurchase key and expansion key for the NA region within minutes of purchasing on June 26th, whereas it has taken him and others several days. Both came with instructions and the expansion key mentions being invalid until July 2nd. Important to note that I am not a Steam launcher user, nor will ever be for all the MMOs I play. It is just too much of a nightmare. It also doesn't really offer an advantage over alternatives.

I did this with Endwalker, same reason too. SE was GREAT, I contacted their customer support and they refunded the purchase and I bought Endwalker on Steam. So just contact SE. They'll help you.

So there's no way you can trade it with someone's steam key.
The way the code works for FFXIV on steam is that it's only gonna work on an account that purchase it.

2ndly your post is obsiviously a scam
and the third point, we steam users do not have the DT key yet. we get them between the 28th of june~2nd july.
peoples which bought the windows version getting their keys inbetween 26th of june~2nd july

Nah, i bought DT a month ago on steam, the CD key was instantly viewable on FFXIV > manage > CD keys. Its been like at least a week since i redeemed it and got the bonus earrings

wait, I thought the cutoff period is July 2nd when the game comes out. Any people that buy DT prior to that date count as pre ordering, no? what are we talking about here?

Edit: mb i didn't know the game requires 2 code. Bonus and expansion key. wtf is this unecessary ♥♥♥♥.
