I purchased a code that I cannot redeem because I don't have subscription time, so I bought subscription time. I still cannot play the game because the subscription time i bought is not working. I used the right account, I connected my steam and SQE account, I have in my account that it is activated and I should have access and I still cannot play (error stating no subscription time).

Support should be able to smooth this out for you. But this is why I always pay directly with MMOs, rather than through Steam. Saves on time and headaches.

There are a couple of places that you have to click a link for Steam directions, but Steam directions are there.

You need to put your cd codes into Mogstation. You said SE account so that might be why you are having issues.

Also the game you bought on steam already has 30 days sub time included when you register it on Mog. If you also bought a 60 day time card? You can also register that on mogstation.

The only way to buy a subscription, is to have registered the CD key to a Square Enix account.

Did you purchase the game here on Steam, then make a brand new Square Enix account with no "Service Accounts" already made on it (must be empty or only have MAC/PS4/5/Xbox, if you have Windows PC then you are locked out of using Steam) and then attempt to "Add New Platform" > Steam > enter CD key > Link accounts > complete.

The CD key is located in your library, click on FFXIV, right click or press settings cog to the right, click Manage and then select CD keys. Enter the key after clicking "Steam" in the MogStation as I mention above.

Login to the MogStation, to the left in the menu select "Service Account Status" and then check it says "Standard (Steam)" and Not Standard, if it says Standard without steam, you registered a Windows PC code and the account cannot be used with Steam.

In that case, your only course of action is to get the accounts unlinked by support.

Ill be honest, I would love play online in this game, it would significantly filter the vast majority of people with questionable intellect.
