I need help

I'm downloading ff xiv and for some reason my computer keeps deleting the patch files. I'm pretty sure it can't finish downloading without it and also it stop my download to.

It's either your anti-virus or it's trying to download to a read-only area (which means you do not have admin rights there).

i think my its my anti virus lol. Because i just recently restarted my pc for it.

Which anti-virus do you have? If you know how, just add FFXIV to its allowed list. If you don't know how, just disable it entirely to update it.

Okay, I have never used that one before, but you should find something called "application allowlist". If you can find it, point to the entire folder for FFXIV and then do it again, but this time point to the FFXIV exes.

i looked in the patch folder and theres nothing. all i found was ffxivupdater.exe

Assuming you're on windows, all you need is windows defender. Uninstall that software.

yes, its in one drive cloud storage and also i just deleted it to see if would help...

i just think its my internet connection, because it'll say its downloading at 4.3mbps while its actually moving at 0.54 mbps.
