Restarting my sub for Square ending exclusives
Got to reward good behavior, sad to see I'd have to pay for the game again to play it on my Xbox but eh I'll just stick to PC version for now.

they didn't end exclusives cause Sony/PS was only timed exclusive, meaning Microsoft could have had the games too. Microsoft's problem isn't exclusives but they're forcing people to pay 2 subs on xbox. u have to have GamePass and the FFXIV sub, microsoft is now shown as greedy, Square never wanted players to pay 2 subs at all and microsoft wins!

It wasn't an exclusivity at all, at the origin it was an infrastructure problem from Microsoft (the 4GB size limit of updates or something like that during the PS3 era) then later it was simply a political problem about cross-plateforming.

Y'all are not following gaming news. Square Enix announced they are no longer making exclusive games because of the low ffxvi and ffviir sales.

I really don't listen to anything a triple meh publishing company says. Their actions are the only thing that matters. Their words are just lies half the time. And the other half it's what they consider to be truth which is just more lies.

Even then, it's best to be a little careful with expectations on this since it could very well happen that, for example, FF7R-3 will just be a PS5/PC game while leaving out XBOX/Nintendo.
Business plans are not always fully laid out instant promises like "We will never do console exclusivity again".

You should look into their announcement. =)

I have, unless they've made a separate announcement on social media going "WE'RE NOW DONE WITH EXCLUSIVES!".

It most definitely will be PS5 exclusive just like the other 2 were(and Rebirth still is). They have a contract with Sony. However, future titles not already in the works will not be exclusive anymore to one platform.
