Otherwise yeah, if it's not out immediately it'll be out within a few days of launch.
I would just advice to simply do a bit of the MSQ at a time and do the side content you enjoy on the side the rest of the time. There isn't really a point in rushing things.
I have like 300 hours played. I stopped playing like 2 years ago because I could not bare the prospect of going through another hundred of hours of quests and cutscenes.
In fact, I remember very little of the story or its characters but I remember the great gameplay and fun I had doing tradeskills and raids.
The compromise I have found is that I'll get the Endwalker skip potion when it comes out AND watch youtube videos that quickly recap the story and major quests of each expansion.
If a quest looks fun or important enough, I'll do it using a newgame+ as someone here mentionned.
Do the things you want to do,
Don't waste your time doing things you don't like.
And especially do not listen to MSQ-Tourists, who barely even PLAY the Game.
But why not buy a new game with that money?
Maybe he wants to actually PLAY the game, you know the Majority of the content in the Game.
I know, crazy uh.
He's going to walk in the end Game and one shot every single boss First try
When you have not touched a single side piece of content
