Yes, I forgot the message now but will check it later, also, quick question, starting off fresh at Limsa Lominsa, getting Marauder, if I get the level boost for Dark Knight to hit lvl 70 instantly with this class, will I be able to unlock the "Shall we Dance" quest for Dancer?? Just a confirmation.
Why is it bad idea? I am interested to play Dancer as soon as possible.
Just doing quests in the areas.
You should be able to get to dancer in due time, but it's your choice.
Mostly it's not for me, it's for my gf, she played the game before and she just wants to play Dancer like super fast, which I do not blame her. I started Marauder and currently lvl 12, I am trying to aim for dark knight, assuming it is possible to reach that in 28 days of playing everyday for hours.
I am confused about the dancer, I checked classes and jobs in the game and dancer is on the same tree ranged dps as archer, is it smart for her to make a marauder to be in limsa lominsa, go get level boost, make a dark knight lvl 70 and from there to unlock dancer? Or should she go as archer, make an archer job to 70 lvl and then travel to limsa lominsa? Kind of confusing which class to start and where.
Do all your dailies (once you unlock it) with the help of a friend, or just buy the items you need from the board, or beg on the streets.
But if you're starting new the best you can do is farm FATEs while waiting for DF to pop, do your main story line, do challenge log, and do hunting log.
Just unlocked home I assume, took a break for a while. Am I close to the dailies/hunting logs? Also, DF?
DNC is located in Limsa Lominsa. GNB is in Gridania, SAM and RDM are both in Ul'dah. Only the HW jobs are locked in expansion zones.
No.. don't listen to that. In general it's true that level boosting is a bad idea because you won't get to fully know and understand your class early on (you will still get to know your class, but it will be more overwealming when you have all your skills from the begining), but you know what's an even worse idea ? Going though all that tedious leveling process if you dislike it or are bored of it.
By all means, go ahead and boost as long as you don't go blind into end game dungeons. Take some time to understand your rotation and dungeons before hopping on in with other people, because if you go in not knowing your class, you will ruin the experience for others.
Thanks for that. To be fair, I can understand both points and I think I might just go that long and tiring road of grinding, but it CAN'T be that bad nowadays, right? I am lvl 15 as Marauder and I like it so far. I really can't wait to get Dark Knight in Ishgard, I assume I have a long road until I hit HW.
So, should I tell my girl to start as Marauder or any other melee class in Limsa Lominsa, get her boost, and go get the quest "shall we dance" from the Limsa Lominsa? I am really confused which class specifically should I tell her to get and boost up.
It must have been a long time since you've leveled anything. You know it's hilariously fast now, right? Especially if you start on a server with a Road to 70 buff.
I am playing on Ultros server in NA, and it looks fast, no idea if it is a fast level up server though, but will keep this in mind. Just found out some REALLY neat and easy controller setups, so now I have more slots to put stuff in case I start feeling overwhelmed by the million skills. lmao
I'm currently leveling something as a matter of fact.(without the buff)
Fast ? Sure. Boring ? Haven't had a more boring leveling experience in any game to this day.
And I'm not the only one. I see posts complaining about leveling every other day.
So when I see someone that feels like I do that wants to skip , I try to encourage him because apart from leveling, this game is actually pretty cool.
As long as you enjoy it, go for it. When you stop enjoying it (maybe to your next Job), you can always consider boosting as long as you are ok with spending the money.
