And that's why pirating mods is so big in FFXIV. Only fools pay modders. :D
We'll see.
I expect some better dynamic lighting, shadows and textures, but I don't really expect color vibrancy and contrast to be much improved. Besides, the few screenshots they've shown us over the last couple years are going to be cherry picked examples that make it look the best possible.
Not to say it won't be a huge improvement over all, but I doubt it will entirely remove the desire for Reshade, especially among GPosers.
It'll take a few weeks at least probably. Most of the modders and plugin devs flat out said they won't suffer hearing the complaints this time - that they are allowed to enjoy the expansion, too, without having to feel pressured for mods from the first day.
The problem will be the people who will whine if ACT and Cactbot aren't updated in time for for raiding. :P
