I'm excited. I've been on a break from GMing for a while, but I think once I pick this up I'll be putting together another game. Hopefully it doesn't have any major challenge-resolution gimmicks that make it difficult to run over Discord or whatnot.

I took an unplanned break from ffxiv cause my computer stopped working. I've been GMin for loads of ttrpgs since 2020. This ... Excites me. Scepticism aside for the quality for the final product ... I wish they'd announce in game items along with the purchase

dnd is boring, stolen, and uninspiring... Id love to have books and more about the setting of ff14 just to run more of it in my own game.

could always run your own. Ive had such topics as nobles being kidnapped and given sex drugs by cultists, cannibalism, and more. SWADE as well is a very lethal system, no hp and exploding dice make it so any attack could be lethal.

None of my existing players play FFXIV so it's not relevant to us.

As a GM, I wouldn't run games for FFXIV fans anyway.
