Besides that, we get an earring immediately on pre-order purchase that syncs its stats and boosts exp until level cap of endwalker, and a mount for deluxe version (not pre-order exclusive) and a cosmetic weapon for one of the new jobs that is likely a reference to a previous final fantasy game.
Edit: oh, and a minion, likely.
Basically, no, but buy it like before the earring disappears because it's a free collectible and exp boost for leveling ALL jobs.
If you think you're going to get past Stormblood before "this summer" (that's as close as we get to knowing right now), you'll want to buy Endwalker at some point and then also pre-order Dawntrail (it is worth it for preorder, the earring is always worth it, plus they'll likely do a mount too and they're usually pretty cool).
If you think you can milk up through level 70 until summertime in the city, wait. Order Dawntrail pre-order when it launches. You won't get the other expansions until it actually launches, but doing it this way you only have to buy the one instead of Endwalker AND Dawntrail.
Timing aside, pre-ordering Dawntrail is worth it IF you find the game a good value already. The rewards are good. However, if you're a poor college student and it's this or food, buy the food, wait til summer for the xpacs.
No, longer you don't buy the game,. longer you can play for free.
