Culinarian help!

I need help with what gear I should focus on getting + best rotation for lvl 90 recepies. I tried googling, but I can't really find any specialized guide for just Culinarian.
For reference:
My gear:
Perfectionist Frypan (+18 craftsmanship)
Perfectionist cap of crafting (+12 control, +18 Craftmanship)
HQ Indagators coat of crafting (+12 control, +18 Craftmanship)
Perfectionists fingerless gloves of crafting (+12 control, +18 Craftmanship)
HQ Indagators trousers of crafting (+12 control, +18 Craftmanship)
HQ Indagators boots of crafting (+12 control, +18 Craftmanship)

Perfectionists culinary knife (+18 craftmanship)
HQ Integral earrings of crafting (cp+8)
HQ Indagators necklace of crafting (cp+8)
HQ indagators bracelet of crafting (cp+8)
Artful Afflatus ring (cp+7)
HQ Integral ring of crafting (cp+7)

Total Craftsmanship: 3693
Total Control: 3342

I'm trying to make Baked Eggplant, but both levels are way too low to even get there, even when I take a food item to boost.
And then beyond that, is there a general rotation I can do to maximize effects? I use HQ for all items I can, but even with the 50% Quality boost, I struggle getting Quality over 90% while trying to actually complete the item.
All suggestions are welcome :)

If you are only doing a +18 craftmanship that means you are still using Materia IX. At this point you should be using or working towards gaining Materia X which will provide a +27 craftmanship, +18 control, and +10 CP.

Indagators gear HQ (green colored) is the best at the moment, though to get to the higher level recipes for any crafter class, advanced melding has to be used.

As to why there isn't a specialized guide, it is because crafting classes function the same in design of abilities, albeit under different names. Frankly if you have the above items, and advanced meld materia then it is usable for all your crafting classes. Only thing different is just doing the process for each crafting class tool.

Also you can complete the Splendorous Tools quest line which will give you a bigger bump.

Hm, i'm not sure how Accurate this will be for you or how much it will help since i don't ever really get to mentor people on crafting in game.

You'll want the full 620 gearset it should be cheap enough to get off the MB or craft yourself by now. ( i definitely recommend server hopping or Data center travel if your worried about gil) or you can try going with the Scrip set which is definitely doable you just need to be careful on your melds/think on what food your going to use for the bare minimum stats to reach the crafts you desire.

I am pretty much Penta'd with my lodestone pan and CUL is 1 of my Spec's. Most of my overmelds are control. my offhand and 3 accessories have 1 craftsmanship and 2 rings have 3 overmelds. again here though get all of your gear together and Meld out what you'll need most after your bare minimums.

After a bit of fooling around for my own crafts/macros i made for myself over time. i made a level 81+ macro for pretty much everything for me to just tab out to read/watch stuff.

in order i use

Muscle Memory
Manipulation
Innovation
Waste not II
Preparatory Touch x5
Great Strides
Byregot's Blessing
Groundwork x3

it is a VERY LAZY macro and there are far better options for myself i just don't bother with it anymore after the expert crafts. xD

For you though I'd recommend possibly using Groundwork After Muscle Memory if your having progress issues. Same thing goes if you need more progress just use Veneration for the extra 50% on any Synthesis skills for progress. Literally just make adjustments for yourself in the Trial synthesis and see what works.

If your having issues with the Quality And progress is fine just use Reflect at the start instead of muscle memory. You can technically try to fix this more by upping the amount of control you have so you can spend less CP on Touch actions to balance out your CP usage a bit more.

Indagator's Set HQ Base no melds AND the Artful Set+scrip tools is the same Stats.

Upgrade the pieces our missing at 620 And Meld from there. Overmelds can only be done on crafted sets to mind that if you want extra Materia melds for QoL stats for yourself.

There are websites to help with rotations/what to use but i dont really use myself Team craft is one of them.

Perfectionist gear is a bit of a crutch- You'll want to try to replace as much as you can with Indagator gear, with maybe an exception on tools.
Of course to actually reap the benefits of that gear, you're gonna have to overmeld your gear- get your open and first overmeld slots filled with X materia, and add CP where necessary (wether the 1-2 CP on some gear is worth it is up to you), with IX materia to fill the rest of your slots of course.
This should give a good push in getting the stats you'll need, overmelds really give a lot of stat on crafters.
If you're low on materia, you can get by with custom deliveries or macro crafting collectibles.

Strongly recommend you refer to teamcraft sims and recommend melding guide for reference. Based on their reference you can get away with full Afflatus set that is melded correctly but you probably will need all HQ mats + food + tea + soul to craft eggplant.

Personally if I would go for that set but with penta melded indagators rings and maybe crystal relic tools (or fully melded indagators tools) so I can skip the soul. That being said, being so late into the expac, its probably not worth it if you buying the materias and I would just MB buy the eggplants directly or ask FC mates to help craft for me instead.

I ran out of Gil to buy a full set of Indagator, but I guess I'll focus on that and materia X.

If you add in the cost of overmelding materias (the abysmal chance of success for 5th slot meld) then yeah its really not worth it unless you intend to do early crafting next expansion (which you should prepare a fully penta melded indagators set in that case).

Once again if you are not going to be crafting much and don't mind your crafter soul on CUL, you "could" get away with just the full Afflatus (scrip) set but with the proper melds together with HQ mats + food + medicine + soul to craft eggplant. Problem would be finding the correct HQ food + HQ medicine reasonably priced under 99 quantity since people clearing stock on MB either way.
