You don't care about worldwide, everyone else does. Being a minor success in one country means nothing compared to a major success worldwide.

Every major release considers worldwide numbers. You're only trying to narrow it down to the one region because the worldwide numbers don't look as good for your game.

That's what happens when you rush through to get to the end ASAP, there is plenty of content outside of just raiding end game content but of course people like you don't see that as content.

Your comment is the equivalent of going into a restaurant, only liking one specific dish, then complaining that there's no variety to their menu.

There's plenty of content, your disinclination to actually play that content is irrelevant.

It's still content, it is part of the game, end game content isn't "every single piece of content.". Just as DarkFenix says, you're just doing one thing that is less than 15% of the entire game and complaining that there is no content.

This here is typical WoW mentality, rush to the end of the game and ignore everything else. Rinse and repeat because you can only play 1 class on 1 character in WoW.

Actually.....it isn't. Crafters make millions of gil PER DAY for a reason. Who do you think makes your raid food? Your relic pieces? Your "better than what you have now"-gear when a new patch hits?

As for old content not being relevant: the mounts they drop are....and I wonder how many people can honestly say they've cleared CoB on Min-Ilvl & Synched? Not to mention that there's story behind those raids....and the story in an FFXIV game is ALWAYS relevant (if you're a ShB-player and disagree...may I remind you of the Crystal Tower?)
Then there's the exceptions; "old" content that people to this day still do. Palace of the Dead anyone? Been to floor 200 yet? Got your nightmare Pegasus? Or what about HoH floor 100? Got your dodo? Do you have all Yo-Kai minions yet? All weapons? All 3 mounts? What about your logs? And you say Paladin? Tried Black Mage yet? BLU? WhM? Are you a mentor? Have a house? Appartment? Shiva(unreal) cleared? How about ultimate coil of Bahamut?

There was not a single item on that list that's not relevant.....how you define relevant might differ from that notion and if it does; great, that's all up to you.....but what I AM saying is...there IS content; it's just not content you WANT to do

I like that we have a "free trial sucks" as well as a "no point buying the game when there is a free trial" thread on the front page :) It should serve as a reminder that you can never please everyone.
