Not being able to get out of solo duties is ♥♥♥ ridiculous

I entered a Dancer job quest duty with a low ilvl. I clearly need to go back out and gear up. But guess what - can't leave. Can't die, the other npc heals me. can't open the menu and use "leave" because why? Can't logout because I am being attacked. This is very traumatic!!!

They take the servers down every couple of months for maintenance so you might be able to reset them?

I've never rolled a Dancer so I might be missing something about this job quest, but if you can't die then what's stopping you from just completing the duty?

I mean, finish the battle or run, and then leave? You absolutely can leave duties, you're just too lazy to do the one thing you have to do which is, finish the fight.

reminds me of FF11, you could bind your character to a respawn crystal at places in the world, but you had to watch out if you just changed your class and die you would respawn in the higher level you were bound to and had to put faith in someone escorting you back, you can only change your class in city resident areas, though they warn you each time you change class and step out of the house and set the point but the
