I wish there was a setting that disabled left click camera dragging.
Would make clicking to target a lot more viable. As it is, if you drag after clicking just a little, you don't target what you clicked and instead move the screen. I never move the screen with left click on purpose and wish it could be disabled.

They both do it.

Use tab and flick your camera with holding right click. It's a non issue once you get used to it.

My only issue is when trying to click enemies, it'll sometimes not target them, due to it dragging the screen instead. I use right click to move my camera and I wish to be able to disable left click camera movement. I rebound tab targeting to mouse wheel. I still feel like there are times where I'd benefit from being able to reliable click a specific target.

I'm really confused because I always had to right click to turn my camera, never right click. At the worst, all left click does is lock your camera so when you turn, the character turns without the camera turning with you. Something like that. It should NOT be a problem. o.o

I suppose I should mention that I use legacy settings, if that matters. I prefer it. Right click and left click do the exact same thing, which is pointless. In my opinion, at least. I'd rather left click be exclusively used for targeting, rather than targeting and moving camera, which right click also does.

Is this what you mean?

If you would like to disable this automatic movement, from the main menu, select System and open the Character Configuration menu, then select the Control Settings tab from the column on the left. Under Movement Settings, highlight the "Disable camera pivot." box.

No. I just want to be able to left click without it affecting camera at all, making it so clicking to target enemies is easier / viable. As it stands, if you hold the button a tad too long or click while still moving the mouse, you will turn the screen and not select your target.

Ah yes, legacy does kinda change some rules even if it's about the same. Still, there are some minor differences with both clicks anyway. You can notice them if you auto run (R). Right click will allow you to change the direction of your characters. Left only looks around.

Although, I get why that would still bother you but I don't think you can change that. As is, unless I am wrong, there is no way to remove the right and left click controls for camera. It's something you will have to get used to. Clicking enemies will work but tab is better.
That's why I said I wish it was a thing. :c
Thanks for trying to help, anyway.
Also, I never tried left clicking while auto running. Good to know that it at least does have one difference.
