Why is nothing being done about afking in duties?

Why doesn't SE punish people for wasting other peoples time by being afk in alliance raids and frontlines?

It's an easy way to get tomestones, wolf marks, and level alt jobs. It has a lot of participation rewards where you don't really need to perform or try that hard. Just showing up enough times will get you what you are trying for.

edit: For frontlines I can tell you that my win/loss ratio is pretty much the same whether I try hard or afk the entire match. One player literally has close to zero effect on the outcome.

One player can have a massive influence on Frontlines, especially if they are a Tactician/issue good callouts. People griefing and being toxic by refusing to interact with the content they queued for have an influence on the outcome of a game too.

In the current iteration of Frontlines, a very good Dark Knight, can influence how the game is going to go immensely. Especially if you have aggressive teammates that are willing to exploit all the good that a competent Dark Knight offers.

Then how come it doesn't affect the win/loss ratio? By your logic, if someone semi-afk that would put their team at a severe disadvantage. But we've all semi-afk matches and still get wins regularly.

The matchmaking is designed so everyone wins 33% of the time regardless if you have an afk person. It'll be an ultra overpowered gigachad like me on your team if you have 2-3 afk players to offset the potential variance.

I think they're saying even if your callouts are good, it means little if other people are griefing/feeding/afking.

Because the thread itself is not what was reported/moderated. It's his behavior... You would not see the banned posts because mods delete the posts that were moderated.
