Subsciption with the Complete Edition ?
Hi, I'm fairly new to FF14, I only played the game for a few hours on the free trial verison. I noticed the game being on sale with the addition of Endwalker (https://store.steampowered.com/sub/698768/). Does this version require a subscription too ? The base game Steam page mentions it, but the this bundle.

If you're not on the free trial, you have to pay the subscription. Once you transition from free trial to sub, you can't go back.

Aight, thanks. I was blindly hoping the "Complete edition" would include the subscription. Thanks !

I do not believe they understood your question, or just provided you with some copy and paste info.

If you create a new account altogether, the complete edition comes with the 30 day game time. It's a puzzle designed to trick you into spending 20 bucks for your first membership if i understand it correctly.

Yeah sorry it's possible I didn't understand the question. The complete edition does come with 30 days of subscription time, after which you must pay monthly.

If you're looking to save money (or if you're not sure you want to take the game all the way to endgame) then get the Starter Edition (which also comes with 30 days of subscription) which does not include the expansions. As you must play the expansions in release order (it is possible, but HIGHLY INADVISABLE) to skip to the final chapter of the story, it makes sense to pay for Endwalker when you actually need it, not before.
