Also I feel like this wholly dephends on like settings and environment and such, I can't say i ever compared temperature with other games but are you on a particularily high resolution? Is your FPS uncapped?
And in the worst case scenario your GPU dissipator is loose and not working as intended
This is the likely answer... also the temp of the room you play in can also come into play...
i runt he game at 1440p the game might not have shiny graphics but it is a mmo so allot of stuff -ppl on screen

if ya have a factory set in this range (which most nvidia cards have) is 80°C+ definitly not ok.
anyways, i advice OP to limit his/her frame rate, you dont really need more then 120frames for this game, more frames just kills the clothing physics of FF14. i mean you´ll notice it when you wear long hair or a coat or similiar long stuff. fps uncapped flips everything on you out when ya are in a storm or just the slightest wind breeze. so, cap your FPS except you love flipping cloth/ear/hair physics :o.
