Soloing Eureka to get relic weapons.

I kind of want to get the Monk relic from Eureka and am curious about how soloable the whole process is, since I know it's technically dead content and I don't really feel like trying to put together groups for it.

If it is completely soloable how long does it take compared to like the ARR relic?

2) join NM (notorious monster) trains to beat world bosses for xp

I did Eureka with two of my guild-mates and got the Ozma mount + DRK relic weapon. however, you can still get things done as a solo player if you are willing to party up with randoms to spawn and beat world bosses (NMs).

Is it possible to spawn and kill everything I need alone?

I'll group up with randoms if people are there and doing the content at the same time, but I don't want to be dead in the water if there's no help around.

Remember to get those Eurekan Pots and you can definitely solo most things.
Some NMs are just too much for a solo player to kill or even spawn alone tho.

Been a while since I touched Eureka, but I'm pretty sure the NMs are the main source for the items you need to upgrade the weapons and armor. Don't remember if there were other sources tho...
For lvling up the weekly challenge log can do just fine if you're mostly just doing eureka on the side.

You need to clear NMs to get your mats for your relic weapon and gear, I don't know if there are some that are soloable, maybe as a tank using Eureka skills. Generally though, people will form NM farm groups and I strongly suggest to do the same. Assuming you want to solo your way through the entire Eureka maps getting all the crystals you need for the relic weapon and/or gear, it will take you a very long time, especially once you reach Hydatos.

If you want the Ozma mount you will have to join a BA group on Discord too, this will be impossible to solo, this raid requires a lot of people (up to 52 people can join in BA).

And finally, is Eureka still fairly populated today or is it going to be a lot of empty zones where I can't make any progress because I didn't bring people with me?

And also, can I do all of this on any job and get any relic I want, or do I need to farm and level on the job I intend to get the relic for?

Oh, and do you only get the replicas for glamour after finishing the entire relic, or do you get them after each step?

Eureka was populated a few months ago, now though, it seems only the 2nd and the 3rd map are populated enough. I went to Hydatos (4th map) last week to farm some crystal and it was not populated enough to get a decent farm going sadly. Maybe I wasn't going there late enough in the day, I can't really say. (Primal DC)

You can do this on any job, it does not matter as long as you have your Antiquated stuff on you.

I believe you get the replicas after every stage unlike the other relics, but I could be wrong on this.

At least I can do this on any class; hopefully a PLD with the right equipment can get stuff done solo on the dead maps, even if it takes forever.

And getting replicas after every stage would be nice, since I mainly want the pyros fists.

Yeah it's soloable, more fun with a friend, so did occasionally duo there, and sometimes did get random invites to groups, and people are generally kinda social there. But did solo it for most part, just gotta rush to the bosses (NM) when someone says "pop" and gets the flag coordinate.

You wanna do enough damage for gold medal ratings after fights for most exp/tomes/drops/filling (filling a kettle phase with energy at some point) if big zerg.

On Light DC to my surprise it's decently active at Eureka, was done with ALL 4 zones and my 1st weapon in 3 weeks. Was not playing everyday even, but had couple like 12 hours sessions i admit. It's kinda addictive and fun, especially when gets those extra temporary skill changing/adding gimmicks so can modify tank to do more damage, or be super tank, or reflect damage, or have Raise as a tank or dps, or have big heals as DPS or tank. It's fun, its like having a couple optional skills/passives to pick from. Can also get Taunt as dps, so i was tanking for me and my friend on my Reaper with Taunt and other special that gave insane mitigation and hp increase. :)

In case you die there, ask someone to come rez you, if you spawn at base, you lose exp progress from bar. That comes as a surprise to many so keep that in mind and not do crazy pulls unless ready to admit defeat on chat and hope someone will come rez you. :P

And yes, some of the bosses are actually tough, so soloing can get deadly. But it's all good fun and can recommend even if would go play solo.

And as someone said, always do the weekly Challenge log amounts of kills there, that brings always several levels of exp there on top of the boss pop runs.

I went in not knowing what to expect, now i'm Eureka enjoyer and Bunny fate addict.

Edit: The special actions (Logograms) opens at the 3rd zone. Those are so fun that wish they were possible to use from the starting zone already. :)

Can solo grind the normal mobs (preferring when got Challenge log bonuses to do), i mostly did 1-3 levels higher than me for faster leveling, more than that is usually slow/not worth the time it takes, so gotta find places with mobs that same level or that 1-3 levels higher for fast exp. I usually when solo did pull like 3 mobs of higher level the same time, i saw many did huge pulls, but also saw them die often hahah.

Bosses that are too high level, should not go there (some things will 1-2 shot you lol), but 1 level higher is fine. Still easy to get gold medal so gets maximum "stuff" from it. :)

doing it alone is really slow tho o.o
it can be dangerous too since one death can cost you half of your eureka experience.
why can it be dangerous? well, some mobs are super close to eachother. eureka is kind of disigned to do stuff with a group in mind. (or atleast 2 peoples aka tank and healer or dps and healer if you feel brave ... i dont recomment it xD)

while you probably can kill eureka fate bosses, will you not be able to kill the eureka world bosses alone. even some of the normal bosses can be difficult alone.
so, i would recomment you to get a friend to tag along. or you may suffer the fate and lose a ton of progress upon death.

i never understood the solo thing in MMO´s anyways. arent you supposed to play with others in MMO´s >w>? *shrugs*
anyways, goodluck with the solo thing. it might be really hard.

The leveling in Eureka is much easier now anyway, the Elemental regen and EXP buff if you find one or get linked the position of it make it almost a cakewalk

Yeah, Eureka was made with player communication in mind, it even says so when doing the main quest of Eureka.

When I get in a zone I always shout and ask for elemental position, the timers if someone is keeping it up and to join a NM farm group.
