Prove everyone else here wrong and show a single player banned for using reshade. Perhaps we should ask all those streamers who use it how they do it without getting banned?
"2nd party" LOL.
I don’t understand your point here. Don’t we all agree to the TOS when we signed up and pay the sub fee? now people here are against when it comes to mods?
The only "mods" I use is ReShade. Because I get eye strain from how washed out the ARR areas are. It's an accessibility feature for me because I can make it not... Do weird things to the UI (KeepUI.fx is a godsend).
Many streamers, including ones the devs REGULARLY WORK WITH AND WATCH, use Shaders. Visibly. They have yet to be banned.
You keep deflecting in my request. If you feel so much in the right, this should be an easy task for you and others to back up your claims that it’s not going to get players banned.
You quote and laugh at my points, it doesn’t make it not true.
2nd party is the exception. It’s pretty clear when they mentioned 3rd party.
Just use the game as is. Don't modify it. Easy as that.
An I mean that it isn't 2nd party because I didn't develop NVIDIA: Second party software is software that is developed by the user him/herself.
Game -should- look that way, and it -could- if they only actually would just make same type of shader/graphic update on the actual game. And i think they will have to soon. I mean 7.0 or 8.0.. imagine if FF14 continues with the same old graphics engine/settings meanwhile every other modern mmo starts to be on latest Unreal tier graphics, color depths, shadows and settings.
You know what most likely been stopping it? The console version. In most games that have both pc and console version, the memory/performance limitations comes from console. Like on ESO the devs admitted they had a lot of limitations and so on what could be done per instance, how much load the game can handle, because of console, even decent PC could handle those fine. But since they had same code and server structure for both, then they had limitations.
This whole conversation is pointless sort of what comes to shaders imo. I mean i know some people like to just argue because they know it triggers some lol, but also they just make themselves look a bit silly.
Everyone wants the shader graphics and chat bubbles to be in the official game. As available options to pick. Anyone who would not want a graphic update or chat bubbles needs their MMO player licence taken away. :P
And if i have to guess? They will be in the game officially. "Soon". Hope next gen consoles can handle same as decent PC can. *prays*
I was just watching Pint's latest vods, all with Shader on . Ban where? :D And he has done his clips, streams and vods with character name and server on for a year now.
So yeah, people can talk about what they want. I myself now use NVIDIA settings so does not affect me anymore. *shrugs*
Still, would be nice if SE would give us some QoL things on graphics settings officially when the next big expansion comes. :)
You can always write to them ( both companies) and ask them yourself since no one here wants to test it out in real time.
