Moogle tome event started yay! :)

but still, time to make a party and venture forth to and grind them tomes for couple of the items up there, especially that one mount that was only available for a limited time.

So, has someone already calculated what is the most optimal time/tomes ratio thingy to do? :D

Well, my first plan was to grind what is most efficient mostly.. but then i came to my senses and made a sort of cycle, that includes a bit of this and bit of that.. so dungeons (yes, Prae also lol), the HW raids (nice to get quick pops on that kind of old content even at odd hours), Frontlines and so on. Wins give 5, managed win most so far. I'm the greatest of pvp WHM mains you ever see. Okay okay, just really lucky i guess with the teams. :D

So it does not feel like such a grind when does all sorts of things instead of repeating just one. =)

Wait.. you can skip them?? I thought those are unskippable, no matter what type of group you have. :O

If you disconnect and reconnect, you won't be in the cutscene. Skipping like this and leaving people behind is usually reportable though, so you would need to do it in a premade party.

Oh that's what they meant... I thought there WAS an official way to skip if everyone was in premade or something. (If everyone completed the duty already). Cheating is bad.

Yeh i thought also that there would be some official way that it worked so with full premades and if all done it already.. but if not, would it not take time also to just disconnect and connect back also and be a hassle in itself?

Like, i'm so used to just watch stuff from phone while Cid talks with everyone in his cutscenes. Sometimes checking other players glams. I don't have other monitor.. but phone is enough to watch clips until cutscenes over and gets to fight. :) It's not that bad, unless repeats it several times per day.

They disabled NPC runs giving mog tomes a few events back, so I wouldn't expect that to work this time.

Technically, you can solo it... but since you have to be synced to get the reward you have no reason to do so. Unless you're like me and wanted to spend a bunch of time on BLU testing (Science!) if it would actually work. Though I did that a couple of mog tome events back, so even that may not be possible anymore.

Cannot do fully solo (1 player) unsynced farming of the content that gives them and also not get tomes with npc's. Not tested this event with npc group (Trust, duty support), but would assume still be the case, if someone tests, please let us know? Gotta be synced content.

But duty finder pops now fast, just pick your favorite thing(s) from the list and hop in with other people. Everyone doing fast ins and outs and it's almost like playing with npc's since most grind without talking much and not watching others performance and so on.

Yeah, you can just use duty finder to queue for content.

I think battle on the big bridge is currently the fastest, get a party of blue mages and you can clear in about 1:20

Wym, the Namazu and all Namazu related items are TOP TIER
