Can I buy FFXIV on another steam account and register it's key to my current steam account?

I purchased FFXIV PAL version on my this account but i deleted my service account and i don't even have that email ID anymore. And i have also accidentally linked an account to this steam which doesn't have any service account, now when i try to use the key which this account has it says already registered. I can't even buy another copy on this steam. So, i was wondering what if i buy PAL version on another steam account and register the key on this account whose linked service account doesn't have any key linked to. Is it possible?

Yeah I guess that would be better since anyway i won't be able to continue my previous progression since i don't have old SE or email ID anymore. But wish i could just play on this steam account since i spent soo much time on it

SE Customer support CAN help with this issue, at least the part that if you want to have FFXIV on this same Steam account (don't make new and try to use code on current one, just don't)

They are able to un-link your old account from this Steam account and then you can link the new service account (via mogstation) to this Steam yourself (Since you have to login to your Steam to link it when asked, and one does not wanna share Steam passwords.. even with YoshiP). But of course, gotta have proof that the account belonged to you, or anyone could just un-link anyone's accounts and steal them. So strong identification (passport and so on) is needed for them to proceed.

If only you had old service account and mail. Lesson to kids, never delete service account! /reprimand Nyaa! ^^

They ALSO can do wonders to help with even not having current email ID and so on, as long as you originally registered the game (Mogstation account details) with your real name and data. So sending a scanned copy of your passport/ID can make them return your account to you and be able to switch emails and other data then.

But yes, in any case unless you just make new account and new steam, get ready to send scan of passport or other legal ID and miracles even can happen, if your service account still exists. It does even when no running sub and so on. It does even if deleted in game characters and so on.

Steam can delete games from your library if you ask them to, it's irreversible, but it's possible.

I tried that. I removed FFXIV from my account and when i tried to re purchase it, it says you already own a deleted copy of this item and i can't re purchase it. :(

Oof. I'd get in touch with Steam and see if there's something they can do about that. Otherwise it seems like you're f'ed.

i litterly have the same problem. my acc got lost decades ago, and i cant repurchase the game and play it on steam. wich is fkn sht. i reached out to steam multible times and they did nothing

uh so you say you purchased FF14 here on steam yes? ... where is the mouse icon next to your name? you do not own FF14 here on steam, otherwise would you have the mouse icon next to your name. you do know what the mouse icon means right? little hint, hover your mouse corsor over it and read what it says.

first of all, he didnt said anything like that. 2nd. he said the acc got lost and 3rd. if he asks steam to remove a game from his library can you rebuy it afterwards. =w=

it has probably a reason aswell why his profile is on private. cause ya would see in his game history if he owned FF14 or not in the past.

Did you read the thread? That's what OP said he did and he said he couldn't rebuy it.
