However, Suspended Login like this occurs because you changed IP addresses between logins. You don't have an authenticator, I'm guessing, so here's what you need to do:
1. Check your mail service and make sure you have a filter set to prevent your mail service from blocking mail from Square-Enix.
2. If this isn't working for you, change your mail service. Gmail very rarely has this problem, but Hotmail is notorious for blocking major mail senders for little to no good reason.
3. In the future, write down you security questions and keep them in a safe place. SE (or any other service) isn't responsible for your long term memory. If you have issues with this, pick security questions you shouldn't easily forget like your mother's maiden name or the school you graduated from.
4. Get an authenticator once you get your account back. It will stop this security check from happening. They're $5 on the SE Store or absolutely free on iOS / Android.
5. If you can't use any of the options to recover, call SE. They can handle just about anything much easier over the phone.
Thanks for your help but what is this about? "First, your decision as to the reason would make me suspect that maybe there was a good reason."
Since you aren't receiving the e-mail anymore, I'd suggest contacting them by live chat, its pretty quick, doesn't take a lot of time, and then provide them with a proof of your identity so they can reset it for you. And next time write it down on a paper or anything, to prevent that kind of headache again.
Cussing out the company in question never makes a good impression.
Anyway, recieving the password mail doesn't really mean that it's not still your mail service. They could be banning one domain and not another. (Since MogStation and SE Accounts actually field from different domains / IP addresses.) They could be filtering certain e-mail headers as well.
I really doubt they're "just not sending" a vital account recovery piece.
Thanks! The live chat was really helpful and I managed to recover my account.
Yeah get mad at them for having account protection! How dare they! [explodes]
Given that this is the case, and to avoid any further flaming, I will close the thread at this point.
