Steam CD Key - invalid code error on Mog Station
So I copied my CD Key into the Mog Station registration page after buying the Heavensward expansion here on Steam, but I'm getting an invalid code error whenever I try to proceed. I've opened a support case with SE but wondered if I'm doing something incorrect. Any suggestions?

Input the code in the expansion tab, not regular game key tab

Under "Your Account > Enter Expansion Registration Code"? That's what I have been doing.

If you bought A Realm Reborn on the mogstation or from another store the steam version of heavensward is not compatible, it says this in the store page. If you bought ARR on steam and its still not working then you need to contact support.

It was through Steam, haven't bought directly from Mog Station. Is it Steam support or SE support that would handle this? Because I opened a ticket with SE and have gotten no response from them.

Let's rephrase that.

When you first bought FF14, and created your account, where did you get your original copy of the game from?

It was in Steam, I just looked at my purchase history (would post screenshot but don't seem to be able to). Regardless, FFXIV:ARR (NA Version and Retail Key) was purchased via Steam last September. FFXIV:HW Standard was purchased last week, via Steam.

Okay, next step.

Take the code off your Steam Library, but don't paste it. Enter it manually.

Yep, did it both ways. Copy/paste first time, then manually typing in each field the second. Still get the error.

ANd you're absolutely certain the key you're pulling is your Heavensward key?

Yep, I see two there, one is for ARR and the second is for HW. Been putting in HW key each time. Tried with lower case just now, same error

I am having the same issue at this moment, tried all of the ideas already listed in this thread. I am currently waiting for a response back from Square Enix customer service regarding this, and I'll post back here once I know more.

Did you ever hear back from SE support? I opened a ticket with them the same day I started this thread and still have heard squat.
