Where do I go to get 200 seals and where in the adders nest do I turn them in to? No one does anything in there :/

Edit: i can not find anything on how to start a quest or whatever it is called in order to start to even get the seals in adders nest, and the merchent like guy doesnt even have the chocobo licence to even sell. SO, what the heck do I have to do to get this darn thing, this is getting to be rediculus.

My quest is called My Little Chocobo (Twin Adders), but it doesnt show where to go to get anything but the red out chocobo person.

Edit: Ok, I finally managed to find a way to get the seals I needed (hunt log for the Order of Adder) and now I have it, and put it on my hotbar, used it and now its not usable. What do I do now? >.>

Edit: I found it in the companion area, now I need the good ol gysahl greens lol

Follow the main storyline. Once you reach a point where you can pick a grand company to join, you can then collect company seals from daily activities, fates, and logs. After you have joined a company and collected 200 seals (takes like 10 minutes), you can then go to the quartermaster for your grand company and obtain your chocobo licence. This will unlock access to the chocobo quest and allow you to ride any other mounts you have purchased (like collector's edition mounts) or found throughout the game.

You can access a grand company after completing your first trial instance (ie after you defeat ifrit )

Try the mount menu instead (I'm not sure where that menu is on the KB+mouse interface)
The companion menu is for summoning the chocobo to fight with you, which can only be done after clearing the "My feisty little chocobo" quest at lvl 30.
The item given to you for the mount is a single-use item that adds the mount to the mount menu, all mounts come as items like this.

Its all good now, thanks guys, but this is a serious slap in the face ordeal I had to go through, took me literally half a day to get it done it seems, I ended up noticing that from my hunter log I was able to go back to a certain place and only needed to kill three of the same mobs and I would have what I needed, but I am still not able to figure out how to go and find more ways of getting more. I watched a couple videos on YouTube to try and learn more and one seemed VERY easy to do, but then I go and try and do it, and it tells me something like I need to complete my Adventure Guild or something, not sure why. Its the Not So Mean LeveQuest. :/

It sounds like you've missed some important quests.
After officially joining a grand company you have to do the next story quest to actually unlock the ability to obtain GC seals.
To unlock grand company leves you need to have unlocked normal leves, this is done via a quest that's handed to you via a story quests and can't be abandoned, though doesn't need to be completed for the story, this quest unlocks the levequests for your starting cities' first zone (i.e. "Leves of Camp Bentbranch" is the Gridania one).
You then need to unlock normal levequests in the zone you want to do GC leves in (via the levemete in that zone)

Yeah turns out I learned today I need to start doing levequests, those havent started yet lol, but as to the main story line, I kept it going for a good while past the Grand Company, but its all good now, when I want more or NEED more, ill figure it all out, but now I think im going to work on getting lvl 30 lance, and then go work on level 15 whatever it was called and get my Dragoon going. :D

Dungeons are better then leves. I suggest leves for crafting and gathering over using on leveling a battle class. First class is your hardest but level straight to 60 for the 2 armory exp bonuses you get. Don't forget to do guildhest and get your challenge log. First time in each class for guildhest is bonus exp. dungeons kill all the adds and don't do it sync if you want to make the most of your exp. Even higher levels syncing to level benefit off taking out all the mobs. Finally make sure your FC is using perks when they can manage it. Leveling goes a lot faster if it's on and people are active when they're used.

This thread was about getting GC credits, not exp.
for GC credits the fastest way is to turn in lvl 50+ gear to under the provisions guy, this is a very bad way to gain GC credits pre-lvl-50 though, the fastest ways prior to this are the GC hunting log and GC leves.
