When does Balmung open?

So I know there are pleanty of threads for this already, but all I can find is from like a year ago, so the info might be outdated. What times do the servers usually unlock? I live in EST so listing the timezone would be appreciated. I tried World Alerts, but I have yet to get an email.

Balmung is possibly the most popular server being the RP server for the game. The chances of it opening are miniscule, but between 4 AM and 7 AM EST are your best bets.

If you desperately want in, create a character on another server and pay to transfer it over. That gets around the block.

Paying for the transfer is pretty much the only way to get on larger servers like Balmung, as mentioned above. I've already tried numerous times right after maintenances, with no luck (even a minute after a maint was already character restricted.)

Like the past posters said. Transfering is really the only way in. It sometimes opens for a second or two after maintenance but it closes off right away! I got lucky 6 months ago and manage to make 6 characters in Balmung!... Then I went back to Gilgamesh/Behemoth!
