Pugilist > Rogue
So to start off I'm a level 16 Monk and my quest level is up to 14 possibly even 15 right now. I'm trying to convert over to a Rogue and unfortunately the entrance to Linsoma (w.e the towns name is) is closed and it does not let me visit that area. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any guide? I know some say that I need an airship access, however, how are people becoming rogues before even having access? Help!

Take a class that starts in Limsa. Also you should get airship access prety soon, so dont worry too much about it.

or u could just join an fc that is in that zone and warp to it

An FC? Again, I"m a new to the game so if you can explain a little more that would be great.

Just keep doing story. You will be able to get in there very soon if not immediately if you keep falling the story.
