Yer very welcome! I can totally understand the frustration. It's such a small detail that I totally overlooked.
I think the comments by Cryptic and Slaanesh above are not very helpful at all. It isn't obvious from the Journal and Duty Finder what you need to do AT ALL. For two key reasons:
Firstly, the reason people get stuck in a loop is because when you click on the portal for the Porta Decumana, it doesn't actually take you to the Porta Decumana. It takes you to the Duty Finder, which has a very annoying feature that it automatically defaults to the last dungeon you did. So it defaults to taking you back to the Praetorium again, which is the dungeon you literally just did! Which is colossally stupid, and very shoddily designed by the devs...
Secondly, it isn't immediately obvious where the duty for the Porta Decumana actually is. Because instead of putting Porta Decumana immediately below the Praetorium in the Duty Finder, under the same "Realm Reborn" Dungeons drop down menu (where any sane gaming coder should have put it) - it instead puts it in a completely separate menu, under Trials rather than Dungeons!
So to clarify, what you need to do to complete this atrociously designed quest:
1) Click on the portal for the Praetorium Dungeon and complete this duty as normal. The portal is next to Cid (after you chat to him) and select the Praetorium from the duty finder.
2) After finishing the Praetorium and watching all the cutscenes, a new portal will appear. Click the new portal, but be VERY CAREFUL. It will default to taking you back to the same menu. Make sure that you uncheck the Praetorium (which you literally just did) and instead find the Trials menu for Realm Reborn - which is a red square with like an angry firey face, and has the number 1 under it. In THAT menu, you will find the Porta Decumana duty. THAT is the one you want to click. Otherwise you end up in a loop, as I did, and the OP on this message board did, and MANY other players on other message boards did. Because it was designed by a monkey with no common sense...
Entrance nodes exists because the DF didn'T used to exist back in the early days of the game, and I guess they still need to exist due to some old code in there, because to be quite honest these entrances are obsolete now.
