Steam Deck Installer Crashes (Unable To Complete Version Update)

I try to install FF14 Steam version in Steam Deck OS mode but after I Login-In to FF14 Launcher the installer crashes. I can download the game for about 5-30 minutes but suddenly the screen goes black and I get an error message: "Unable to Complete Version Update 30437.

I tried to switch to Proton Experimental but still, the installer gives me the same error.

Is there any solution for this issue?

Running into the exact same issue. I was hoping the new Proton version that came out today would fix it, but it didn't

XIVLauncher's guide says the game can only be installed to internal memory, you are not installing to MicroSD by mistake?

Also, if it's the installation problem (but probably not a problem logging in or gaming after since Proton 7 fixed everything) you can actually try to install via XIVLauncher's guide [goatcorp.github.io]

Yeah I got the 64gb model so I had to install it to SD card.

I finally managed to install it though. I got tip from Reddit that the installer can continue
where it crashes. It took couple of nights but I just restarted installer after every crash
