so about auto-crossbow to me it seems rather redundant im only at lvl 53 idk if it gets better or something but as it is rn i don't see a reason to use it over heatblast cuz heatblast gives 50% reduction in cd on ricochet and gauss round auto crossbow don't i just wanna hear where or when you think its optimal to use

Assuming you get 5 uses per Overcharge and facing 3 targets.

Auto Crossbow is 140 with no falloff for multitarget. So 2100.

Heatblast is 180, Gauss Round is 120, Ricochet is 120 with 50% falloff for multitarget.

You get 2.5 more Gauss and Ricochet for 5 Heatblasts.

900 + 300 + 600 = 1800.

On the assumption that my math is correct which it could be wrong. Auto Crossbow should outperform on 3 enemies.

I forgot about the potency boost for Overcharge. Which brings the total to 1900 not 1800.

yes, autocrossbow is on 3+ targets stronger.
ricoshet is just a filler AoE when moving or on single target with gauss round during heatblast phase and is just a little bit of extra damage =x.

the thing is you get way more autocrossbow AoEs out during your heat phase then you ricoshet and gauss is not AoE. not to mentition that ricoshet is an offglobalcooldown so you can fire it with auto crossbow together. so, ideally have you 2 charges ricoshet when you go into heat phase at 90 even 3.

you should always use auto crossbow as soon there are 3+ targets.

Auto Crossbow excels when your tank has gone wall to wall bonkers and theres a mob of insane mobs about to turn them into linguine in a few seconds. Thats when you pop the Charge, maybe let loose a couple Heat Blasts to charge the CDs if you havent prepped em beforehand, then go nuts with the Crossbow. Watch them numbers. Points if you hit the Reassembly button for an extra surprise!

ye this is all i was asking like the reason it was even a dilemma is cuz that with heatblast u get your gauss and ricochet back faster meaning more dps in that sense but yeah ig autocrossbow is for 3+ mobs now in the end of the day the post was just to hear all of your thoughts on its optmal use

Even though the single target equivalent reduces 2 of your skills CDs it's still not optimal damage for 3+ targets as you basically hitting a single target, multi targets, single target and so on.

Yep after some experimenting the crossbow most definetely does have a use but it just sounds so weak on paper but if it had damage fall off like ricochet it would prob be redundant
