Not available in your country?

Hi everyone I'm from the Philippines and whenever I try to visit the ff14 steam page it says not available on your country....

now I want to know if we're IP blocked so that I won't waste my money if I pay outside of steam...

if we're not ip blocked and I just can't purchase through steam do you guys know any other way I can purchase the game?

any help is appreciated...

You're not IP blocked.

Buy from SE direct or have someone gift it to you. You should be able to buy the retail box in the PH too.

*Don't get the boxes from Shanda Games, those may be IP limited to PRC only.

also do you know why is it that I can't buy through steam? I know a friend who has a steam copy and can even access the page... so why can't I?

wish we can have this in steam its easier for payment method if its in steam -.- maybe we should throw a lot of Racist card on Square Enix foe being racist and not allowing steam to sell this in the Philippines? Square Enix is basically an American company now so it should work they already Abandon their Japanese Identity.

Buy it straight from mogstation.

this can get you literarly suspended. they made a notice about this that it is against the ToS to enter a fake adress. it got announced on the 07/01/2022 08:35 or in US date 01/07/2022

same counts for steam. if steam notices that you fake your location via vpn can you get literarly suspended and loosing your entire steam account.

means, if you ever forget your entered "fake adress" (like many peoples had here in this forum already) and you get trouble to recover your account/got hacked etc. are you literarly screwed.

yeah, then tell me how SEA players can play when they only allow NA/EU/JPN adress.
It has been 10 years since I made the account, but there was no way to put in an SEA address back then.
But hey, maybe it's changed.
Maybe I made a mistake 10 years ago.
God knows I wasn't as net savy back then as I was now.
Maybe it accepts an actual real SEA address this time.
I guess we'll see

and if his friend lives in Philippines and is able to access the NA/EU/JPN steam where they actually have the game in steam. THen yes VPN

i dont know if you watched the video to the end but, he says at the end that someone contacted the SE support and they literarly wrote back "just use the NA and enter as much information as possible from your original adress" so, it would be ok. and well, aslong you can remember your adress which you entered will you mostlikely not run into any trouble since SE cant really check if the adress is true or not ... well they could do but for who knows how many peoples would that be too much.

the notice which they made in 2022 was very vague and i posted the YT video to clear it more up. but, fact is. if you ever forget the adress which you entered and SE asks you for said adress when you try to recover your account is the account probably to a high chance forever gone. unless you get one of the more friendlier employees which let you update your adress because you may moved etc.

What part of an SEA address can be used in my fake NA address?
street name?
postal number?
ooh ooh perhaps street number. Yes that might work.

oh wait. In the end even he told people to use a fake address.
