Cant download DLC

So i have the base game and i bought the DLC after, but its saying i need the base game to download it. I already own the base game

Make sure that your steam account with the purchases in linked to your SQE account, and all registrations are done. Then if you open the launcher after you register the code on mogstation, open the launcher, if it doesnt auto download when you sign in, close launcher and reopen it, sign in and it should download.

i asked the sub reddit and they said it was cause i was on the free trial

Correct game isn't free to play your on trial with restrictions.

To do expansions you must own basegame which trial isn't owning it. So you have to buy basegame activate that then activate expansion. Your then also required to pay a monthly subscription and your forever locked out of trial access

You'll just have to buy the starter edition if you have endwalker purchased. Then go to mogstation activate your starter edition key then activate endwalker key. Starter Edition does include 30 days of subscription time

There is starter edition for 19.99 that's base game

There's complete edition at 59.99 iirc that's endwalker and basegame which is everything

Then there is just endwalker for people who didn't need complete

Mogstation is where you manage your account you had to set that up to play at all. It's also where you activate your codes etc. So sounds like you bought base game so to get expansions You'll have to buy endwalker also which is 39.99$ iirc

Google mog station ff14 or the launcher may have a icon for it. I know it has a icon for the mogstation store for outfots and stuff so that should work. Log into that with your info and find the activate option someplace

Not sure about the client, but search ''mog station'' on google or whichever search engine you preffer, should be near or at the top. Once there, log in with the account you use to play, when it asks for a one time password, if you never set it up, leave that space blank.

(you will have 2 keys if you buy endwalker edition)

Input/redeem your base game code, and if you got endwalker as well, on service account dashboard, there should be something called redeem code, or redeem preorder bonus code. put the code in there

I really don't know why people keep repeating for you to buy something you already bought. You just have to register the Starter Edition code and the Endwalker code on your account on Mogstation.

thank you, i did all that, even set up my subscription, im pretty sure. but im still not seeing ant changes

Have you loaded the launcher and tried to login AFTER doing everything? Make sure you delete the demo fully just to be safe, and it should download the game when you login
