Is there a way to multi selectinventory items?

Is there a way to select multiple items for stuff like selling or putting in your retainer? So far I've been double rightclicking each item one by one if I'm selling to a vendor or moving to retainer.

Explain how you would implement a system to put multiple different items up for auction all at once, a thing even games like WoW simply don’t have.

Doesn't even have to be for the auction, I'm talking about just selling items to vendors or moving them to your retainer.

That would work if there was a quantitive kind of item sellable to vendors or put on retainers that’s universally sensible... as is, FFXIV doesn’t do junk items.

I found a way just now to sell items faster. Open a vendor, and drag and drop your items in his/her window. Works faster than right-clicking and navigating to Sell Item.

No junk items? What about the Allagan/Nightworld Pieces or Clear Demimateria? Those items literally only exist to be sold, that would count them as junk, as there is absolutely no reason to hold onto them.

if you placed the items you want to sell in order in your inventory you just have to use the keypad to sell, 0 to sell and 6 to go to next, my first inventory tab is just for trash from monster drops

i want a market system setup like EvE Online has buying and selling is so easy buying quantity out of a stack for sale instead of having to buy the whole stack etc

the generic windows hot key what ever where you can shift/ctrl to select for the inventory system for mass selling would be nice as well

and the FC chest...
and player trading..

game needs some UI quality of life stuff
