NEED HELP TO RESET THE GAME

Hi guys! My problem is
I made an account 2017,used the CD keys and played for 7 hours only to uninstall.
Now today on December 2021 I decided to BUY and play the game it says I already bought the game. So I went to install to check and log in. I have my account users and passwords fine and could log in. BUT then the one time password thing require my DOB to which IDK what I put when I registered back in 2017! So I'm trying to ask here if there's a way to COMPLETELY ERADICATE my old stupid account that requires my DOB to even delete itself. So I can PAY THEM THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY to buy a new CD key to make a new account on STEAM because I have a few hundred on my account growing mole. I Don't want to have a game showing up my bank statement after using my cards.

If you are unable to access your account due to a OTP then you will need to contact support. That's the double edge of using a OTP. It secures your account so well that if you lose it then you have locked yourself out of your account.

I'd contact support and as personal advice I recommend writing down account credentials in the future

if you can login before the dob thing log in to the mogstation and remove the 2 factor otherwise no your out of luck account is gone and need to make a new one, could always contact them and give info they will reset it but you will need a birth certificate as proof it is you

Yes I can log in account just fine but I just can't remember the dob I used

Contact SE support asking to remove your OTP you'll need something to prove ownership of the account such as receipts of the sale you can get those easily with your CC company and Steam historic, or if you want to speed things out and dont mind starting all over again just buy the game for an alt account.
Create a new steam account add yourself as a friend and send the game as a present for the alt, login on your alt copy de Serial code and create a new FFXIV account for the game now go back to your main steam open the game and login using your newly created FFXIV account and you should be able to play and get some Steam points since buying as a present will give you the points

Do they have a contact number or a place I can chat to someone directly? The support just keeps dodging my issue and leave me staring at FAQs.

Do not bother with support, it is a trashbin, even before Endwalker, when i managed to contact support with similar problem, they asked for a scan of my passport, surprised that they didn ask to send it to them via fax machine. No way to attach account to phone number, "your pet name" questions during registration, bs OTP. Superiour japanese technologies, lol. 2021, lol. This game is a scam.

if you can do live support chat (im not sure if that's still a thing), that is how i solved my same issue.

I sent them one mail with the story about my character on my legacy account, giving the info i had etc. that was enough to remove it. Took the one day from the mail was sent my end, next day I had access. SE support is epic and speedy :)

Also a dumb question... But did you ever actually set one time password up in the first place?
I thought the OTP was from SEs dongle/companion tool?

If you never set it up then you just leave that field blank.
