Mogstation/Square Enix not registering my purchase
So I have bought the game+DLC on steam. The base game registered correctly on mogstation. Not the DLC, and I can't register the DLC using the CD key steam provides because it's "invalid".

No matter, I think, I'll contact the support and play normally in the meantime, so I buy 30 day subscription to play the base "Realm Reborn+HeavenSward" package. Now the login screen tells me that I don't have a subscription however I have been billed AND the mogstation/Square enix Secure tells me I do indeed have 30 days left of subscription.

Can someone help ?

Anecdotally, I found purchasing and setup through steam to be a major headache and just opted to get the game directly via square enix.
Assuming you don't get a solution for this, I'd suggest refunding the game, see if you can refund the subscription, and get the game through square enix store instead.

You will need to contact support. Steam for the invalid CD-Key, i think, and SE for the problem with subscription. You should have received a 30-day free with the purchase of A Realm Reborn. But just to make sure: the dlc has a separate cd-key, for the dlc itself so the base game cd-key will not include the expansion. Make sure you looking into that.

The thing ism I didn't have to register the base game from steam to square enix, it did that automatically. (without giving me 30 free days)

That's strange. Did you tried to register the base game cd-key? I think you should try it, maybe the game is running the trial version and you missed it but probably not as you said you... paid for 30 days?

On your mogstation account, on the account status tab it says that your account type is "Standard (steam)" or it says something else?

For some reason, your game is activated for the windows version so this is why you can't login with the steam client. Did you get the game before, maybe on twitch prime a few years ago or this is a new account? Because if you did, you will not be able to register the steam version there(maybe if you contact SE support, but thats a maybe) so you will need to create another account.

I had to make a new "Service account" to register my steam account, which means i've wasted 12€ on 30 days for an account that doesnt work but hey :zote:

Glad it worked, even if not ideal. You could try to contact SE for a refund explaining the situation so you dont lose those 12€. Good luck.
