For modern clothing: apart from the lvl 1 all-jobs Scion Adventurer's set you'll get during post-Heavensward MSQ, there's the recent-ish lvl 1 all-jobs Casual Attire and Calfskin Rider sets, which are all about as modern as you're going to get in a classical fantasy scenario like FF14 currently.
Apart from the Scholar job gear and the Scion Adventurer's sets, the rest of the ones I listed can all be bought on the marketboard, and are either crafted with lvl 80 crafting jobs or obtainable by chance through the Ishgard Restoration/Firmament content.
There's actually quite a few 'modern'-ish glamour options from treasure map materials (ex. fireglass set), plus Ishgard Restoration has a few options.
- Alexandrian sets
- Neo-Ishgardian sets
