Tho answer the actual question, one of the most common ways to get put into timeout is spamming say or yell chat, GMs are pretty trigger-happy on those.

Except drugs are illegal, and rightfully so. People need to find healthy ways of relaxation, not discuss drugs in a game oriented at children, teens and young adults first and foremost. I see it as a good personality test - if someone can't think about someone else and people who play these games - they are not worth talking to.

I am adding you to my blocked list since you clearly don't care about anyone except you and your desires.

And nothing of value was lost.

I am sure Seth feels great pain at being blocked by a dinosaur living in the past that blocks over differing opinions at such quick pace, then even posts about it like anyone actually cares. xD

Well judging by the reply, I'd say we have the actual reason they got booted out of novice chat. They tried to play their moral righteousness 'think of the children' spiel, then started a fuss when someone told 'em to get lost.

Probably a good way to get banned as well is by wasting GM's time with fraudulent reports. If you behave like this in every game and discussion I wouldn't be shocked to hear that you find yourself in front of closed doors quite frequently.

For the record, I've never used cannabis. But the studies convinced me to support its legalization. And taxation; pot sales to fill potholes. (Also voted for increasing the tax on alcohol, for similar reasons.)

But between the lack of additional detail for the incident ('drugs' and a buzzword is hardly much context to go on, and people are right to want more details before agreeing with OP), the ridiculous hyperbole and the morale grandstanding, I'm guessing æʀ's just trying to upset people.
